John William Saunders

John passed away April 16, 2022 in the Moosehaven Health Care Center at the age of 88.

He was born to John and Mable Saunders on December 21, 1933 in White Pigeon, Michigan.

John served in the Navy from August 21, 1951 to October 15, 1954.  He received a National Defense Ribbon, a Korean Service Ribbon and a China Service Medal. 

He worked for General Dynamics as a Tool and Die Maker retiring in 2001.

John became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on May 2, 1976 when he joined Silver Springs, Florida Lodge #1199.

John came to Moosehaven on January 23, 2019 where he has resided for 3 years.

John is survived by his sister Diana Krueger of Pease, Minnesota.
