John Carl Shevada

John Carl Shevada, 61, of Saint Johns, FL passed away on September 16, 2024. He was born to Mike and Louise (Munchin) Shevada on April 11, 1963, in Jacksonville, FL. John graduated from Terry Parker High School and Florida Technical College. He worked for the City of Jacksonville IT department for 36 years before retiring and then worked the last five years at the Florida School Book Depository. John was a member of Creekside Christian Church. He enjoyed church, camping, and being outdoors with family and friends, as well as his beloved dogs, Ginger and Sadie. He will be remembered for his calm and gentle demeanor, his love of dogs, his sense of humor and his love of family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Louise Shevada.

Johnn is survived by his son, Taylor Shevada (Sara); brothers, Tom Shevada (Shirley) and Steven Shevada (Diana).

A celebration of his life will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Creekside Christian Church, 92 Life Spring Way, Saint Johns, FL 32259.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society.
