Johnnie Ruth Dillard

Johnnie Ruth Dillard, 74, of Middleburg, Flordia, was born October 10th, 1942 to Rufus Earl “John” & Sylvia Bean. She was born and raised in DeQuincy, Louisiana. Mrs D. went to be with her Saviour on May 26th, 2017 at 10:40p.m. at home, while surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 2 half brothers, Bill and Steve Glasspool; her son, Mark Edwin Dillard, and her husband, Ed Dillard. She was married for over 50 years. Survivors include her sister, Mrs Wilda Kingrey; her two daughters, Stacy Thurman, and Jennilyn married to Matt McMullin; her niece, Becky, married to Donnis Hinz. Also missing her dearly are her 5 grandchildren; Aja Thurman-27 married to Leo Ferrell , Austin Thurman-19, Alex Thurman-17, Jack McMullin-12, and Luke McMullin-9. At the time of her passing, Mrs. Dillard was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church for over 16 years. She was involved in many ministries including teaching Sunday School, writing Bible lessons, and working with children in the Christian School. Her memorial will be at 2p.m., on Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church, 1532 Long Bay Road, Middleburg, Florida. Officiating the service will be Pastor Ken Pledger.
