Johnny Earl Dixon

Johnny Earl Dixon, 59, of Green Cove Springs, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. He was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, July 13, 1959; the youngest son of the late Allen and Sarah Dixon. He graduated from Clay High School in 1977 and after college served honorable in the US Army for six years as a Medical corpsman.  He later went on to become a registered nurse earning his nursing Degree from the University of Florida. He spent many years working at Orange Park Medical Center and continued his nursing career as a traveling nurse in various parts of the country.

Johnny was pre-deceased by his wife, Julie (Williams) Dixon; and is survived by his only son, Jonathan Dixon and two brothers, Terry (Anna) Dixon and Gary (Teresa) Dixon along with several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.  A private service with burial in Little Ruth Cemetery will take place at a later date.
