Johnny Smith

Johnny Smith of Green Cove Springs, Florida passed away on March 24th,2024. 

Johnny was born January 11, 1942, in Harriman, Tennessee to George Smith and Virginia Smith (Roberts). He was the proud parent of his two sons, Darrell Smith and Jason Smith.

Johnny served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He later owned his own business. He loved fishing, Gator games and selling his produce / wood on the side. He was happiest when spending time with the family.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Harriett. His parents, brothers Tommy, Willard, Kenny, Bo, Billy, and Jimmy Joe.

Survived by sons, Darrell (Charlene) and Jason (Beverly); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, David and sisters, Faye, Gail, and Nancy.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Davidson family for the love and support that has been given to us and our dad. 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024. The family will receive   friends from 10-11:00am and services will begin at 11:00am in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Reverend Joe Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
