Jon Leonard Braun

Jon Leonard Braun, 72, of St. Augustine, FL passed away on September 16, 2017. He was born on November 8, 1944 in Oslo, Norway. Jon was extremely successful as the owner of Viking Auto, Electric & Air, Inc for almost 40 years before retiring.  He enjoyed playing golf and watching car racing.  Jon was the rock of his family and was always there to help.  He is preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Braun. Jon is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Anne-Lise Braun; son, David Braun; sister-in-law, Toril Morteng and his nieces, Sonny Larsen, Laila Aarnes and Ann-Cathrin Morteng. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 7, 2017 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the St. Augustine Humane Society.
