Joseph Levy Burnsed, age 77, husband to Patricia Burnsed, Father to Joseph, Alan and Daniel. Grandfather to Alyssa, Alan Jr., Daniel Jr., Lindsey, Hailey and Natalia, passed away in the early morning hours of February 3rd 2022 after his battle with cancer. Joe was born in 1944 in Nashville, Georgia. He had 2 brothers Phillip and Richard and is survived by his sister Patricia. Joe served in the United States Air Force from 1963-1967. He met the love of his life Patricia at Jacksonville Heights Baptist Church and were married April, 8 1967. He went to work for Channel 4 as a photographer and eventually became Chief photographer. He retired in 2004 after 30 years on the job. He worked hard and made sure his family was always taken care of. He loved his 3 sons and enjoyed playing ball with them and being their biggest supporter. He also enjoyed spending time with his 6 grandchildren. He truly was a family man. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. May God Bless You.

There will be a service for those who would like to say their last goodbye to Joe on 15 February @ 11 am at Centerpoint Baptist Church in Middleburg with Dr. Jerry A. Robinson and Pastor Lee Fulenwilder officiating. The family will receive friends in the church from 10:00 am until service time. Interment with military honors will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery at 2:30 pm (Lane #2).
