Judy Henderson

Judy Henderson, 78, of Fleming Island, FL, passed away August 14, 2017.  She was born on August 30, 1938 in Garrett, IN to parents Frank and Lucille (Owen) Dembickie.  Mrs. Henderson was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Fleming Island.  She was an active volunteer who spent many years with the Life Care Center of Orange Park and the Clothes Closet of Orange Park.  She was very helpful to the many Senior Citizens in her community.  Mrs. Henderson loved to cook and garden and will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.  Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Henderson; son, Chris Henderson (Lindsay); daughters, Stephanie Toranõ (Charlie) and Melanie Henderson; grandchildren, Ashton, Amanda McKinnon (Joel), Carlos and Vanessa and great-grandchildren, Caroline, Jonah and Charlie. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Donal Sullivan as Celebrant.  The family will receive friends in the church from 10:00 am until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Outreach Program, 7190 Hwy. 17, Fleming Island, FL 32003.
