Julee "GiGi" Sharrow

Julee “GiGi” Rountree Sharrow, 61, of Orange Park, FL, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. Julee was born on June 1, 1960 in Jacksonville, FL to Raymond and Dolores Rountree. In 1980 she was married and in 1984 she had a daughter, Stephanie. She married James ‘Randy” Mclean in 1991 and gained a bonus son Gregory Mclean. Julee worked at Unisource for many years and made lifelong friendships. Her most recent employer was Westrock Recycling. One of her greatest joys in life was when she became a GiGi. She treasured every moment she spent with her grandsons Easton and Camden. Randy and Julee shared an amazing life with many adventures from fishing, camping, to travel and food. Oh, and we can’t forget her quests to see sunrises and sunsets.

Julee was known for her cooking, knowledge of places to eat, and above all her passion for helping others. She never met a stranger and could make you feel like you were lifelong friends within five minutes of meeting you. Julee was preceded in death by her mother Dolores Taylor. She is survived by her partner James “Randy” Mclean; sister Lisa Rountree Brannan (Danny); daughter Stephanie Lumpiesz (Gregg); grandchildren Easton and Camden Lumpiesz; father, Raymond Rountree; and numerous family members.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 27, 2021 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Food Pantry of Green Cove Springs here.
