Karen E. Knight

March 2, 1961 — February 14, 2020

Mrs. Karen E. Knight, 58 of Clay County, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020.  Mrs. Knight was born March 2, 1961 in Summerville, South Carolina to Charles and Virginia Baker.  Karen was a loving nurse and retired after 30 years. She was a member of Russell Baptist Church.  In her free time, she enjoyed shopping, traveling and planning vacations, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, Bella. 

 Her parents, and her sister, Susan Baker Johnson, preceded her in death.  Survivors are her husband, Tony Knight of Lake Asbury, daughter, Victoria Schultz (Joseph) of Green Cove Springs, granddaughters, Kirra and Taylor of Green Cove Springs, and stepson, Adam Knight (Kristy) of Middleburg, granddaughter, Kyeilgh and grandson, Jake.  Also surviving are her sister, Kathy Baker (Fran), brother, Robert Baker (Pam), brothers-in-law, Terry Knight (Karla), Mike Knight (Lynda), and Donald Knight (Coni) and her niece Ashley Johnson.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 20, 2020 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, February 21, 2020 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor Bill Clayton officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery. Following the graveside service all are welcome to the home of Tony Knight for food and fellowship.
