Karl E. Hoffine

Karl E. Hoffine, 71, from Orange Park, FL, passed away on September 12^th 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family.  Graduating from Tustin High School, he went on to join the US Army, serving a tour in Vietnam, then serving in the USMC Reserves.  In 1973, he started work at NADEP on the F8 line, also worked V88 on the F14 line as a metalsmith mechanic. He went on to work as a Program Management Assistant in V90 until he moved south.  At FRC JAX, he worked as a finance manager on the CASS program which he retired from in 2006.  Serving a total of 36 years of loyal Government service. He was a Mason, enjoyed playing golf, was an avid NASCAR fan, and enjoyed spending time with his family.  He will be remembered for his smile, laughter, kindness, and always willing to help someone in need.

He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Hoffine, together 45 years; his daughter Marsha Hoffine; his son Karl (Nancy) Hoffine Jr.; and five beautiful grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Anna Hoffine, and his sister Patricia Rofkahr.
