Keith A. Leclaire

KEITH A. LECLAIRE born August 29, 1960 Framingham, MA

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of a wonderful man.

Keith A. Leclaire, 59, of Saint Augustine, Florida passed away on October 17, 2019.  He is survived by his wife, Maryann L Leclaire; daughter, Sarah E. Leclaire; mother, Estelle O’Connell; brothers, Everett J Leclaire Jr, Glen Leclaire, Sean O’Connell, Tim Leclaire and sister, Lori Leclaire.  Preceded in death by his father, Everett J Leclaire. 

Keith worked as a professional millwright for many years.  He also spent time volunteering in the Diabetes and Cancer wing at CentraState Hospital in Freehold, NJ, the Franklin County ASPCA in Rocky Mount, VA, Roanoke Memorial Hospital, VA and Jacksonville, FL ASPCA.

He will be remembered for his love for his wife Maryann and dedication to raising his daughter Sarah, whom he loved dearly.  He taught his precious daughter how to fish which they did often.  They both enjoyed working on cars, especially his 1970 Challenger. The family shared a passion for music and attended many concerts together.   He was known for his caring and compassion toward his family and lived life to the fullest.  His laugh was contagious.  He always was quick with a joke and made people laugh.  Everyone knew when Keith entered the room.

Memorial Services will be held at 5:00pm on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel and the family will receive friends at 4:45pm.  He was a parishioner at San Juan del Rio Catholic Church and Deacon Michael Elison will be officiating the service.
