Keith Alan Little
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Keith Alan Little announces his passing on May 30, 2022, at the age of 44, at Orange Park Medical Center, Orange Park, Florida after a brief illness.
Keith was born on October 24, 1977, at Putnam Community Hospital in Palatka Florida to his loving parents, Kathleen (Bennett) Whitener and Lawrence Little, the second of two sons.
Living his entire life in Palatka, Keith attended Palatka schools and was a 1996 graduate of Palatka High School. During Keith's middle and high School years, he competed and excelled in motocross, Enduro and hare scramble racing. He carried that love of riding and maintaining his bikes, truly anything mechanical, throughout his life.
Keith was the ultimate perfectionist and enjoyed working with his hands, as evidenced by his career as master welder and pipefitter.
Although the beach was not Keith's place, he absolutely loved the outdoors. He especially loved fishing, being in the woods or being around any freshwater lake, pond or river.
Keith leaves behind a multitude of family and friends, who all feel he left too soon.
Keith is survived by his wife Christina (Christy) Carmichael and his daughter, Nika Lanette Little, his pride, joy and love of his life, both of East Palatka, Fl.
Keith is also survived by his mother, Kathleen A (Bennett) Whitener of Green Cove Springs, Fl. and his father, Lawrence J. Little of Flagler Beach. Fl.
Keith also leaves behind his loving brother, Brian A. Little, of Palatka, Fl.
Other surviving family members include his grandmother, Lucy Colantonio Little, of Keene, NH.; aunts and uncles, George and Carolyn Bennett of St. Petersburg. Fl., Stephen and Linda Myers of Keene, NH., and James Little of North Swanzey. NH. Also, cousin, Matthew Myers of Brooklyn, NY; and nieces, Mackenzie Little and Marlie Little, both of Palatka, FL.
Keith is preceded in death by grandparents Carroll J Jr. and Josephine (Conboy) Bennett, Prescott M. Little and Uncle, James D. Bennett. and aunt and uncle, Paul and Eleanor Campbell.
Keith will be remembered as a loving son, father, brother, uncle and a friend to all who knew him.
We will all miss Keith and that (extreme) southern drawl which he carried throughout his entire life.
Rest in peace, sweet Keith.
A celebration of Keith's life will be announced at later date.
