Kevin Kersey

James Kevin Kersey, 64 of Middleburg, FL went home February 18, 2021. He was an owner/operator truck driver for 48 years. James is a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He will be remembered for always being the first one to help and the last one to leave anyone.

James is preceded in death by his parents James and Sandra Kersey and daughter Brandy Rhoden (Kersey).

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Laura Kersey; daughter Crystal Kersey; grandchildren Madyson Gosnell (Kersey) (Carl W.), Rylan Kersey, Andrew, Brandon, Mason, and Emerson Rhoden; brothers Keith (Carla) and Kent (Linda); sister Kim Carlier (Jeff); many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who he was so proud of and that will surely miss him. He also had numerous friends that are considered family.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm, Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at South Middleburg Baptist Church with Pastor Delton Kilpatrick officiating.

Family gathering will be held following the service at: Jeff and Kim’s home, 3000 Jubilee Lane, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.
