Kevin Thomas Smith

Kevin Thomas Smith, age 65 passed away on September 23, 2020 after a brief illness in Jacksonville, Florida.

Kevin was born on March 25, 1955 in Jersey City, NJ, the son of the late Andrew and Ruth (Mailey) Smith. He graduated from St. Peter’s Prep and obtained his Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University.  Over the last 40 years he practiced law in both NJ and Florida. He had a passion for the complicated and challenging cases with many great successes in law.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Carrie; 4 children, Alison, Kevin, Ryan and Jamie; and two grandchildren, Addie and Will.

Besides spending time with his family and friends, Kevin had a love for travelling, attending sporting events, various horse tracks, and caring for his dog Tiki.  Kevin had an energetic personality and a great sense of humor. He had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering in near future.  More details on date, time, location tbd.
