Leila M. Jones

Leila M. Jones, 75, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away on July 23, 2018.  She was born on July 18, 1943 in Switzerland, FL to the late Johnny and Annie Grace (McGallard) Bowen.  Mrs. Jones was a lifelong resident of Florida and a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church.  She loved flowers, fishing, camping and sightseeing.  She was preceded in death earlier this year by her husband, Billy Jones, Sr.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her son, Billy Jones, Jr. (Amy); daughters, Irene Cowart (Jack) and Rhonda Maddox (Randy, Sr.); sisters, Delorse Harn, Gracie Golden and Laura Frederickson; 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Special thanks to Mrs. Jones’ grandson, Edward Maddox and his wife Kimmi, for stepping up and being the rock and strength for Nana & Papa in their times of need.
