Leslie “Tree Man” A. Floyd, 82, of Middleburg, FL passed away on July 27, 2018. He was born on March 11, 1936 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Ralph and Clara (Ponce) Floyd. Leslie was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of Clay Hill Church of God. He was a tree surgeon and work was his hobby. Leslie enjoyed riding horses, vacationing in the mountains, church and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Jerome Floyd.
Leslie is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Beulah Floyd; sons, Ronald and Daniel Floyd; daughter, Diane Knoblauch (Mike); brothers, Eugene and Andrew (Diane) Floyd; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00pm on Thursday, August 2, 2018 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel and funeral services will begin at 2:00pm officiated by Rev. Jeff Crawley, Rev. Andrew J. Floyd and Rev. Jamie Wyatt. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
