Lillian N Lussier

Lillian passed away February 21, 2019 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 91.

Lillian was born to George and Lula Neer on September 10, 1927 in Warsaw, Ind.

She grew up in Chicago with a younger brother. At the age of 10, her parents divorced, Lillian continued her education and spent her free time at the Salvation Army where she learned to love the Lord.

At 16, Lillian left Chicago to live with her grandmother in Findlay Ohio. She worked in a medicine factory for $18.00 a week. Lillian met Charles Nalle, who lived in her neighborhood. They were married on November 29, 1946.  Charles and Lillian had four children Raymond, Donald, LuAnn, and David. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles, and sons Raymond and Donald.

 Lillian worked out of her home as a self-employed baker before retiring in 1972.

She became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose when she joined Findlay, Ohio Chapter #698.  Lillian rejoined Women of the Moose on October 01, 1970. She received her Academy of Friendship degree on January 1, 1956, College of Regents on June 02, 1979, and Star Recorder on June 12, 1995.

Lillian came to Moosehaven on February 13, 2002 where she resided for 17 years.

She met fellow resident Richard Lussier and friendship grew into love. Lillian and

Richard were united in marriage on June 11, 2005.  Richard preceded her in death on May 10, 2009.

Lillian will be laid to rest in the Moosehaven Mausoleum.

She is survived by her daughter LuAnn (Andrew) Dzura of Madison Ohio, son David (Laura) of Carey Ohio, 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.
