Linda "Diann" Wendorf

Linda “Diann” Wendorf, 61 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away on December 13, 2021. Born May 21, 1960 in Sinton, Texas, Diann was the youngest of 9 siblings growing up. After graduating from Galena Park High school in Texas she enlisted in the Navy and met the Love of her life on the way to Sicily, Italy for sea duty. Diann served her country as a Radiomen and was very patriotic. While attached with the military, she enjoyed traveling, experiencing new adventures, and meeting new friends. Diann was active in the Clay County Shrine Club for numerous years and was the Presidents Lady in 2006. Halloween was one of her favorite holidays and she enjoyed decorating each year for the event. She enjoyed attending the parades around North Florida with the Clay Kats go-cart unit. She was active in the Middleburg VFW post 8255 and the American Legion Post 250 where she enjoyed meeting with friends and making people laugh. Music was a passion to her but most importantly was spending time with her granddaughter. Diann is survived by her husband of 41 years Ivan; daughter Brandy; grandchild Riley; sisters Virginia Turgeon, Frankie Eanes, and Debbie Burns; and brother Tim Williams. Her family will have a service and celebration of life at a later date.
