Lloyd Ellis Murphey

Mr. Lloyd Ellis Murphey “Lem”, 53, of Clay County, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020. Mr. Murphey was born March 22, 1966 in Jacksonville, FL to Frank and Elaine Murphey. He owned and operated LEM’S Tree Service for over 30 years and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. He had a big heart and loved to make people laugh.

Survived by his son, Kyle Murphey; sister, Angel Foster (Paige); nephews, Robert Rock II (Cassidy) and Tanner Rock and niece, Elaina Rock and his loving dog Mr. Blits.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Camp Chowenwaw Park, 1517 Ball Rd., Green Cove Springs, FL in the Kiwita Building with Pastor David Capps officiating.
