Lois Martha Knoblauch

November 24, 1937 — February 15, 2024

Lois Martha Knoblauch of Orange Park, Florida passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 10:30pm at Haven Hospice in Orange Park. 

She was born to Margaret Amanda and Andrew Francis Wiggins on November 24, 1937 in High Shoals, North Carolina.  She graduated from Rock Hill High School in Rock Hill South Carolina.  Soon after she moved with friends to Racine Wisconsin where she met and married the love of her life, Ronald Knoblauch.  She was a full time devoted wife and mother of their two boys.  In 1984 she moved with her family to Florida and they settled in Orange Park.

Martha and Ron were long time members of the Church of God in both Wisconsin and Florida. 

Martha resided at the Life Care Center in Orange Park where she made friends with several of the residents and staff. She loved playing BINGO and for everyone who visited, they knew BINGO hours were non-visiting hours. She also loved going shopping with her church friends and spending time with her family.  She will be remembered for her witty outgoing sense of humor and for having a joke to tell at any given moment! 

She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Ronald Knoblauch; as well as 5 brothers, Joel Wiggins, Harold Wiggins, Robert Wiggins, Rev. Donald Wiggins, and Max Wiggins; and 4 sisters, Charlotte Wiggins Fore, Helen Wiggins Crenshaw, Elizabeth Wiggins Lowery, and Reba Wiggins. 

She is survived by her sons, Ronald Eugene Knoblauch (Tina Knoblauch) of Connelly Springs, North Carolina and Michael David Knoblauch (Diane Knoblauch) of Middleburg, Florida; 5 grandchildren, Hilary Carlson (Kyle Carlson) of Orange Park, Florida,  Rebekah Cobb (Brandon Cobb) of Columbus, Georgia, Nicholas Knoblauch (Tori Knoblauch) of Middleburg, Florida, Haley Garland (Ashton Garland) of Spokane, Washington, and Nathan Knoblauch of Middleburg, Florida; 7 great grandchildren, Leland, Kylee, Declan, and MabelAnn Carlson, Abel and Isaiah Knoblauch, and Amy Cobb. She also has several nieces and nephews. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday March 2, 2024, at Christian Faith Center located at 4021 Everett Ave. Middleburg, Florida with Rev. Mark Sellers officiating.
