Lola Pearl Hill

July 25, 1953 — February 26, 2022

Lola Pearl Hill, 68, passed peacefully at home on Saturday February 26, 2022 in the care of her family.

She was born to Lillie Scott Adamson Carmichael and Phillip Ward Carmichael, Sr. on July 25, 1953 at Orange Park Medical Center. She resided most of her life in Green Cove Springs, Florida.

She dedicated her life to raising her children and also enjoyed her role in helping to raise her grandchildren. She always put her family first. She loved to spend time with family playing card games and sitting together and talking with everyone. She loved to read and enjoyed so many books over the years. She would always watch her shows (soap operas) and remained a fan through her life. She loved animals and many strays wandered into her life over the years. She enjoyed living a simple life and took care of everyone that she could.

She was always a feisty spirit and even up until the day before she passed, she was still joking around with us. She always tried to make people laugh with her antics.

She is preceded in death by her parents named above and also by her two brothers William F. Carmichael (Billy) and Phillip W. Carmichael Jr. (Buck).

She is survived by her 3 sisters, Pam Fazzio, Cynthia Carmichael, and Linda Crundwell (Kenneth). She was blessed with 5 children: David L. Maxwell (Rozanna), Sonya M. Carlson, Robert C. Hill, Jr., Debra A. Hill, Linda M. Hill. She also had 10 grandchildren: Leslie, Edward, Bryan, Austin, Alyssa, Cheyanne, Madison, Aliena, Shania, Desiree, Devon, and Robert and 8 great grandchildren; Brayden, Landon, Colton, Hazel, Austin, Denver, Clive, and Carter.

She was such a Mother Hen to her siblings, her children, her grandchildren and also loved her great grandchildren.

May you rest in peace Mom, watch over us, always be with us, and may you give us strength to carry on through life in your honor.

Lola Pearl was the best Mother, and she will be missed by all those that loved her.
