Loretta “Lori” Lovestock Rivera passed away peacefully June 16, 2024.
Lori was born February 26,1948 in Manhattan, New York to Pasqua Calivito and Solomon Lovestock. She graduated from Lafayette High School in 1966
Lori loved traveling. She vacationed to Hawaii where she decided to stay for a month or two and then to Los Angeles and stayed for many months. Ultimately her traveling landed her in Florida. She lived in Miami and traveled North to Jacksonville where she lived out her life, in Clay County, Florida.
Lori took care of people, she cared for her mother for many years until she passed, took care of her father, her brother, Mike and even fostered a couple of siblings. Her love of caring for people led her to pursue a career as a home health aide.
Lori was a very strong and independent woman who single handily raised her children while also owning a cleaning business for over 20 years, leading Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, running the concession stands for the baseball park and barrel racing arena.
Lori was someone that was hard to forget. She always told it how she saw it, She was strong-willed and made friends that lasted a lifetime.
She is proceeded in death by her mother, Pasqua Calivito, Father Solomon Lovestock and brother Michael Lovestock. She is survived by her two children, Gerald Campbell of Middleburg and Victoria (Mike) Pruitt of Virginia. Her grandchildren Hayley Benson, Jayden Campbell, Christian Campbell, Woodrow Brown, Caden Brown, Mila Pruitt and Hunter Rae Pruitt.
A Celebration of life for Lori will be held Sunday, June 23rd, 2024, at 12pm-2pm at Gold Head State Park, located at 6239 State Rd 21 Keystone Heights, Florida.
