Lowell Dayton Crane, 77, of Orange Park, Fl. passed away on September 8, 2018.
Lowell was born November 1, 1940 in Kessler, West Virginia. A proud veteran, he achieved the rank of CPO before retiring from the US Navy. He was an avid golfer, who loved to watch the Gators and Jaguars play football and enjoyed traveling with his wife. He was a member of Wesconnett Masonic Lodge #297. He was a leader among Masons, serving in many organizations. He was awarded the 33rd degree and was a Past District Deputy Grand Master.
He is survived by his wife, Lyndalea Crane; sisters: Phyllis Yost, Janice Crane, and Thelma Winfree; children: Laura Mattheiss, Leland Crane, and Tana Crane.
Inurnment services will be held on Monday, September 24th, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at the Jacksonville National Cemetery (Lane 2) followed by a Masonic Memorial at 11:00 a.m. at Wesconnett Masonic Lodge #297, 5917 Old Timuquana Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32210 with Chaplain Samuel Bennett officiating.
