Mae T. Wager

Mae T. Wager, 91, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Mae was born on Sand Mountain in Albertville, Alabama on January 4, 1926 to Frank Burson & Mae Truss. She moved to Florida when she was 8 years old.  Mae loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a longtime member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Mae worked as a home health provider.  She loved to sew, garden, collect antiques, cook, do word searches and read.   Most of all, Mae cherished the time she spent with her family.  She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.   Mae is survived by her children, Rita Smith (Shorty), Nita Reynolds (Bill), Gearld Thomas, Evon Taylor (Jimmy), Connie Wainwright (Phil), Levy Brack (Mary) and her precious grandchildren and great- grandchildren.  Plus some very special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Hickory Grove Baptist Church on Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.  Funeral services will be held at the Hickory Grove Baptist Church on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 11:00am with Reverend Russell Franklin and Reverend Joe Barrie officiating.  The burial will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
