Margaret "Marge" Florence Leinecker

“Marge” Margaret Florence Leinecker, Age 88, (Penney Farms, FL) passed away Tuesday, May 26. She was born to Calvin Duff and Mary Bell Duff in Camden, New Jersey. She moved to Miami, FL in 1948 with her sister and parents. Marge graduated from Jackson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1953 as an RN. She was the director of OBGYN at Doctor’s Hospital in Coral Gables (Miami), FL. She later worked at Baptist Hospital in Kendall (Miami) as a High Risk Pregnancy Nurse after earning her High Risk Pregnancy Nursing Certification. She married Richard Leinecker January 22, 1954. They were married over 66 years. She was a kind wife and a loving mother. She showed all of the Fruits of the Spirit like her mother and father (Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control). She is survived by her husband, Richard Leinecker of Penny Farms, her daughter, Joy Curtis of Green Cove Springs, her sons Rick Leinecker of Orlando and David Leinecker of Fleming Island, 9 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at The Pavilion at Penney Farms once we are past the COVID-19 restrictions.
