Marie-Paule Lucille Tuk

MARIE-PAULE LUCILLE TUK, age 94 of Jacksonville, FL passed away peacefully on September 18, 2021.

Born to Arthur and Yvette Desmanches January 20, 1927 in Trois Rivers, Quebec, Canada.  The oldest of four children, she was preceded in death by her mother, father and two brothers Gaston and Real.  Marie is survived by John B. Tuk her devoted husband of 65 years, sister Marie-Francois Carmen Mitchell of Oregon, sons Wayne Cleveland of Nevada, Bruce Cleveland (Sherrie) of Alabama, Glenn Carriero of Jacksonville, Mark Cleveland (devoted caregiver) of Jacksonville and daughter Jean-Marie Hubler (Johnny) of Jacksonville.  Grandchildren Christopher Cleveland, Timothy Cleveland, Kara Cleveland Achoka, Eddie Diamond, Sean Cleveland, Jason Carriero, Justin Carriero, Travis Carriero, Lacie Hubler Ussery and Houston Hubler and many great grandchildren.

Marie retired from University Medical Center, Inc. as a medical secretary in 1995.  She was a member of St Catherine's Catholic Church in Orange Park, FL.  Marie was an avid golfer and a consummate Bridge player.   But most of all Marie was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother.  Loving and serving her family came naturally.  She cared for everyone she came in contact with and her acts of compassion were widespread.  She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Interment will be at the Jacksonville National Cemetery on September 28, 2021.
