Marilyn Ann Pavela, 85, of Jacksonville, FL passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021. She was born July 26, 1935 in Hammond, IN to parents Stanley and Rose Ginalski.
After high school, Marilyn went to nursing school earning her R.N. license. While as a mother, she become the taxi driver, Girl Scout leader and cheerleader to her daughter’s events in life.
Marilyn and husband Phillip were married for 54 years before his passing. They enjoyed traveling. They were past members of Am. Legion Lake Shore Post #137 and Advent Lutheran Church in O.P.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Phillip Pavela, Jr.
She is survived by their daughter, Carolyn Farhoud (Charles) and their son Jack; sisters-in-law, Gloria Stanich and Mary Biba (James); brother-in-law, Dan Pavela (Kandi).
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021 at San Jose Catholic Church, 3619 Toledo Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32217.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Haven Hospice or Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens.
