Our treasured Marsha Kay Ricketts, 65, of Keystone Heights, Florida, went to rest in Jesus on August 29, 2021. She was born to Alvin and Betty Norris on April 5, 1956 in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from Forest Lake Academy in 1975. She was a devoted Seventh-day Adventist. Her hobbies included card making, crocheting, painting, and many other crafts. She also enjoyed swimming, watching movies, baking, cooking, traveling, camping, playing board games, and being with her family. She is known by many as wife, grandma, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her sister Krystal Garza; her mother, Betty Norris; and her father, Alvin Norris.
She is survived by her husband and beloved of 44 years, Michael Ricketts, her three children and their spouses; Brian and Jessica, Anthony and Sammy, Philip and Daniell, and her Jenny. She leaves eleven grandchildren - Lauren, Madison, Landon, Leah, Jace, Olivia, Sadie, Braylon, Eden, Wiley, and Jasper; as well as three great-grandchildren, Josh, Charlotte and Roman. She was also cherished by her brother, Gary Norris; sister-in-law, Carolyn and Bobby; brother-in-law, Bobby and Kim; brother-in-law, David and Lori; foster-sister, Lucy; foster grandchildren Triston and Jessenia; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Her services are being held on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 5:00 P.M. at Camp Blanding Chapel, with Pastor Brandon Hawley officiating.
