Martha Elizabeth Williams Reed

Martha Elizabeth Williams Reed, 89, of Jacksonville, FL, went home to be with The Lord on January 30, 2023, after a very brief illness. The oldest of six siblings, Martha was born on September 19, 1933, in Valdosta, GA to Gene and Ruth (Taylor) Williams. She loved the Lord with all of her heart, was always kind, upbeat, and positive. She just made you feel better. Martha was a loving and beloved wife, mother, sister, and aunt and was predeceased by a baby brother, James Williams; her sister, Barbara Anne Campbell, and her husband, Cliff; and brother, Wayne Williams, and his wife, Helen. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Fred N. Reed; son, Keith B. Reed (Gary Lockwood); daughter, Kimberly Reed Cunningham (Spencer); sister, Faye Denmark Cavoores (Tom); brother, Fred Williams (Peggy); numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at eleven o’clock Tuesday morning, February 7, 2023 at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32207.
