Matthew Thomas Rhodes

Matthew Thomas Rhodes, age 33, of Jacksonville, died July 18, 2019. He was born October 26, 1985 in Jacksonville, Florida, the son of Carrol A. Spires and William "Bill" Rhodes.

Matthew was preceded in death by his Grandmother and Grandfather Lyman and Emily Spires.

He was a Jacksonville native and attended E.T.A.G.

He is survived by his mother, Carrol and father, Bill along with his two children, Jade R. Rhodes age 13 and Damian Rhodes age 7 who are also Jacksonville natives.

Matthew was a loving son, loving father and was a dear friend to many.
In his last days Matthew was self-employed as a small engine repair mechanic. Mechanics only being one of his many talents.

Matthew’s service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Paxon Revival Center Church 5461 Commonwealth Ave. Jacksonville, Florida 32254, if you would like to come pay your respects.
