Maye Regina Moseley of Keystone Heights, FL, died unexpectedly on May 21st at the age of 84 at Ascension St. Vincent’s Clay County Hospital.
Regina was born on May 7, 1937 in Apalachicola FL, born to Clarence Floyd and Julia Maye Floyd (neé Daly) and was raised in Jacksonville, FL. She graduated from Bishop Kenny High School in 1955. After graduation, she met and married Joseph E. Moseley. Regina was a homemaker while her husband served in the U.S. Army.
Her interests included family gatherings, listening to her daughters singing, spending time at their Tennessee cabin and reminiscing about her family’s adventures traveling the world.
Regina is survived by her sister Alice Ann Sundquist; daughters, Ann Garrison, Regina Futch, and Veronica Carey; grandchildren, Joseph White, Christopher Garrison, Matthew Garrison, and Kathryn Zelek; great-grandchildren, Ben David White, Jacob White, Daniel White, Eleanor White, Connor Zelek, Aubrey Zelek, Addison Zelek, Christopher Luke Garrison and Ezra Garrison.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Moseley.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Clay County Humane Society.
The funeral mass will be held 10:00am, Friday, May 28, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Mission Church with Fr. Sebastian Garcia as Celebrant. Graveside service to follow at Penney Farms Cemetery.
