Melba F. Montgomery

Melba passed away November 7, 2019 in the Moosehaven Health Care Center at the age of 91.

She was born to Warren and Pearl Monroe on June 22, 1928 in Shamrock, Texas.

Melba was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. She loved to cook, sew and travel with her husband Austin. Together, they had traveled across the United States, as well as Israel, Greece and Canada.

Melba became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on December 11, 1996 when she joined Tillamook, Oregon Chapter #571.

Austin and Melba came to Moosehaven on March 26, 2015 where she has resided for 4 years. He preceded her in death on September 26, 2016.

She will be laid to rest in the Moosehaven Mausoleum, Orange Park, Florida with her husband Austin.

She is survived by daughter, Janice Volpe, and son in law George Volpe of

San Leandro, CA. granddaughter Gina Whitehouse and her husband Dave Whitehouse of Seattle, WA.
