Michael Monaghan, age 62, passed away Monday, August 31st at home with his family. Michael was the son of William and Aline Monaghan born on January 19th, 1958 in Jacksonville Florida. Michael graduated from Clay High School in 1976. He worked as a printing press operator, welder, and millwright. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and working on his motorcycle.
He will be remembered as a loving father and friend, as well as being the biggest personality in the room.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
Survived by his son (William Monaghan), daughter (Jennifer Hunter), grand-daughter (Kayla Hunter), sisters (Joyce Cooper and Debra Murphy) and mother of his children (Debra Monaghan).
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, September 5, 2020 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Bobby Baker officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations to Community Hospice can be made in Michael's name.
