Micheline Andre Larsen

Micheline (Mimi) Andre’ Camarsac Larsen of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away on April 3, 2020 after a 15-year battle with Alzheimer's. She was born in St. Quentin, France on February 22, 1932 to Arnaud and Charlotte Camarsac of Bordeaux, France. She will be forever missed by her loving husband Edward, her son Bruce A. Larsen, her two daughters Kathryn M. Forfa and Karen M. May as well as her three sons-in-law, Michael Link, Stanley Forfa and Bobby May.Mimi was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Pierre, and two sisters Evelina and Huggette.Mimi married Eddie in Bordeaux France on May 18, 1955 where he was stationed with the US Air Force. Becoming a military wife, wherever we were stationed, be it New York, Germany, North Dakota or Virginia, she took on a pioneering spirit and made every new place our home!! She taught us to be resilient, independent and resourceful. No matter where she was people loved her. She made fast friends and was there to help whenever needed. She had many interests and was a devout student of life, a voracious reader, and champion of lost animals, her record of seven cats and two dogs still standing. Our family has so many memories that we will keep safe in our hearts as well as those who had the privilege to know her. She truly had a wonderful life! A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
