Nancy J. Sablan

Nancy J. Sablan, 75, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away February 25, 2018.  She was born on October 3, 1942 in Jackson, MI to the late Albert and Blanch Faye (Harris) Jewell.  

Nancy came to the area in 1977 from Corpus Christi, TX and was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carmen Elizabeth Sablan; brother, Bill Jewell and sisters, Ester Paluck and Margie Jacobs.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Antonio Sablan; son, James Curtis Sablan; daughters, Deborah Vickery, Cynthia Ann Weber, Donna Jean George, Amy Marie Blount (Kevin) and Mary Jane Bernich; sister, Georgianna Griggs; 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 9:00am on Monday, March 5, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the funeral mass will start at 10:00am with Fr. James Kaniparampil CMA as celebrant.  Interment will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery at 12:30pm.
