Nancy T. Silveira, 80, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away on August 10, 2017. She was born on March 1, 1937 in Attleboro, Massachusetts to the late Raymond and Florida (Aussant) Heap. Mrs. Silveira came to the area in 1974 from Newport, Rhode Island and was a parishioner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a member of the VFW, Elks Club, the National Association of Federal Employees, Women of the Moose, American Legion and the Catholic Woman’s Club. Mrs. Silveira enjoyed volunteering for various organizations including the Clay County Council on Aging building fund and as a big donor for the Special Olympics. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Silveira and her sisters, Lois Cockcroft and Ruth Poirier. Mrs. Silveira is survived by her sons, Michael Silveira, Robert Silveira and Stephen Silveira; brothers, Robert Heap and Richard Heap; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in the main sanctuary, with Fr. Michael Pendergraft celebrant.
