O. Ronnie "Ron" Sneed

Orville Ronnie “Ron” Sneed, 79 years old, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on February 10, 2025 in Orange Park, FL after an extensive health battle over the past month. Ron was born to OJ & Lorena Sneed on May 26, 1945 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. 

Ron always enjoyed sales & was self-employed most of his life. He had a passion for dealing with used furniture & antiques. He also enjoyed selling cars & RV’s. He was a member of Lakeshore Church of Christ for the last 25 years where he had many friends who were more like family. Ron enjoyed fishing, NASCAR & football. He was an avid Jacksonville Jaguars fan even during the tough seasons. Ron loved ice cream & enjoyed a bowl whenever he could. So, when you think of him feel free to enjoy a scoop of ice cream with a smile! 

He was preceded in death by his parents OJ & Lorena Sneed, brother Kent & son Ronald Cory Sneed. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Toni L. Sneed, his children Lori Balcanoff (Rodd) Lacy Doss (Trey) Daughter in Law Ashlie Sneed & his grandchildren Dalton Balcanoff (Noel), Daphne Hughes (Jason), Pierce Sneed, Carter Doss, Hailey Sneed & great grandchildren Amelia Balcanoff & Asher Hughes, sisters Marsha Freeman & Deanna Carnes, many nieces & nephews, friends & family. 

Ron was loved by so many & will be missed by all who knew him. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at HCA Orange Park Medical & especially the nurses in ICU for your wonderful care over the past month.
