Oakley May Wheeler

Oakley May Wheeler was born on December 13, 2013 and on June 11, 2019 she went to rest in the arms of Jesus.  Oakley was surrounded by her loving family and Pastor Larry Hall of the Green Cove Springs Church of God.

Oakley had a heart condition from birth, she spent a lot of her childhood at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, FL.  She loved going to church and singing songs about Jesus.  She would always ask for prayers for her family and her heart condition.

Oakley leaves behind her mother, Tricia May Payton; father, John Sean Wheeler; brothers, Cooper Wyatt Payton, Harlan Wheeler and Colton Dyal; grandmothers, Robin Payton and Donna Wheeler; grandfather, Louis Shane Payton; great-grandmother, Glynda Burch; great-grandfather, Wilburn Burch; great-great-grandmother, Willie May Cribb; aunt, September Forbes; uncles, Spencer Poell and Victor Payton and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will have a private graveside service at a later date at Shiloh Cemetery.
