Pauline Denton October 23, 1921 – September 15, 2017Pauline passed peacefully on September 15, 2017 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 95.She was born on October 23, 1921 in Grand Rapids, MI to parents Herschel and Viola (Shippee) Stratton. Pauline married her 1st husband Samuel Raby in 1939 he preceded her in death in 1969. They had 4 daughters, Donna, Patricia, Beverly and LeeAnn. She married her 2nd husband Richard Denton on December 26, 1991.She worked for Royal Downs Garment Factory for serval years until the factory closed. Pauline then went to work for the Greenville Moose Lodge she enjoyed sewing, crafts and playing Bingo. Pauline became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on January 11, 1943 when she joined Zephyrhills, FL Chapter #1682. She achieved her Academy of Friendship Degree on April 24, 1977, and her College of Regents on June 4, 1978. Pauline sponsored 22 members during her lifetime as a Moose.She came to Moosehaven with her husband Richard on April 22, 2008 where she has resided for the past 9 years. Pauline was a sweet lady who had a pleasant personality and positive attitude. She always had a smile on her face. She will be dearly missed by all of her Moosehaven friends and family. Pauline was predeceased by her first husband, Samuel and her second husband Richard and daughter, Patricia Kennedy. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Hannah of Ridge Manor, FL, Beverly Young of Dade City, FL, LeeAnn White of Belding, MI; step-daughter Lori Mazzola of Stanton, MI.; two stepsons, Mike Denton of Detroit, MI and Mark Denton of Sheridan, MI. There will be no services here at Moosehaven. Pauline’s ashes will be interred with her husband Samuel in Greens Corner Cemetery in Belding, MI.
