Rachel Michelle Bourne

Rachel Michelle Bourne, 41 years old, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020.  Born to Charles and Cynthia Bourne on March 16, 1979 at the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas, Rachel travelled with her parents as a Navy daughter. Once established in the Jacksonville area, she attended Green Cove Springs High School and then The University of North Florida where she graduated in December 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications.  She worked as Vendor Management Lead with Toronto Dominion Bank’s Jacksonville office.  Rachel’s passion were humorous and heartfelt classic movies.  She also loved spiritual studies which included both Western and Eastern cultural beliefs.  She was motivated by challenging work and used her abilities to organize and focus on the resolution of complex problems.  She’ll be most remembered by family and friends for her love of excellent food.  Rachel is survived by her father, Charles Bourne and family of Tampa, Florida, her mother, Cynthia Bourne of Fleming Island, Florida, her Aunt Kathleen McBratney and Uncle Boyco Varney in Kansas, and Grandfather Warren McBratney in Wyoming.  As the family wishes, in lieu of flowers, please pass an act of kindness forward (Pay it Forward) in her honor and notice when and how fast it comes back your way.
