Ralph Owen Padgett, born on May 1, 1944, to Will and Helen Padgett. Left this world and all who loved him, to join his Lord and Savior on March 10, 2020. He led a simple but extraordinary life. Being known by so many names. Husband, Father, Grandad, Son, Brother, and Friend. Graduated from Clay High, he then spent 2 years serving his country. Married Sandra Perry, his “Bride” on October 12, 1967. He started his journey with AT&T. Spending the better part of his life working hard before retiring in 2007. He then spent his time pursuing his hobby and love of stump grinding. If you knew him, you were blessed. Kindhearted and compassionate he was loved by many. Those who went before him are rejoicing in heaven with him today. He loved the Lord, and that is the only consolation that those of us left behind have now. Ralph is survived by his Bride of 52 years, Sandra (Dorie) Padgett; daughter, Sandra O. Padgett; grandsons, Tyler J Allen and Trent E Saunders; sister, Sharon Coughenour (Charles); brothers, Tommy Padgett (Earline) and James “Boy” Padgett (Sharon) and sister-in-law, Annette Padgett. Preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Padgett. A man who loved the Lord, who loved his family, with such a strong work ethic, and morals that could never be questioned. That is a legacy to leave behind. Ralph Owen Padgett, Dad, we Love You. You will be missed. Thank you for taking care of me for 52 years.
