Ira Rance Taylor passed to a better world Monday, July 25th, 2022. He was 39 years old.
Rance Taylor was born in Orange Park on May 23, 1983, son of James and Evon Taylor. He grew up in Green Cove Springs attended local schools, graduating from Berean Christian Academy in 2002.
Rance loved fishing with his dad and brother and exploring for new fishing holes. He was a huge movie buff, and he had an impressive baseball card collection. A man of excellent tastes, he loved his mother’s cooking, especially her southern cornbread. He enjoyed going to the shooting range. He was the biggest fan of the Miami Dolphins and loved going to games as often as possible. He also enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves. He was an avid gamer and developed lasting friendships in his online communities. He was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church and loved his church family clearly.
Rance is survived by his mother and father Evon and Jimmy Taylor of Green Cove Springs, Florida; brother Stephen Taylor (Ciara) of Keystone Heights, Florida; his pride and joy were his nephews, Luke and Harrison; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family would like to thank everyone for the love, support, and prayers during this difficult time.
The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, July 30, 2022 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Funeral services will start at 11:00am with Pastor Greg Neal officiating and burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
