Randall “Randy” Griffith Bramlitt, 65, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away on Sunday, July 23rd, 2023. He was born to Ethel “Tootie” Bramlitt and Holland Bramlitt on November 30, 1957. Randy graduated from Nathan Bedford Forrest High School, Class of 1975, in Jacksonville, FL. He worked as Well & Pump Serviceman and was married 46 years to Karen Bramlitt .

He was a hardworking father and husband. Randy was known as a Jack of all trades and could fix or build anything. In his free time he was an  avid hunter and houndsman. Randy will be remembered for his general knowledge of craftsmanship, love for running dogs and riding horses.

 He was preceded in death by his father, Holland Bramlitt, Mother, Ethel “Tootie” Bramlitt, and brother Walter Bramlitt.

Survivors include his brother David Bramlitt (Sandy), sister Renee Pappy (Jack), sons Holland Bramlitt (Tammy Shealy), Travis Bramlitt (Monique), Luke Bramlitt (Kristen), his grandchildren, Clayton, Carley, Trevor, Kimber, Tinsley. And, also, by many others he loved dearly.

 

Karen Denise Burnsed Bramlitt, 64, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away on Sunday, July 23rd, 2023. She was born to Carmel and Ralph Burnsed on January 27th, 1959 in DeLand, FL. Karen graduated from Taylor High School, Class of 1977, in Pierson, FL. She worked as Cafeteria Manager for Clay County School Board and was married 46 years to Randall “Randy” Bramlitt.

Karen was a devoted mother and wife as well as an amazing cook and baker - best known for her Mac & Cheese, Cream Cheese Braids, Pecan & Pumpkin Pie. She loved to sew and craft beautiful quilts and will be remembered for her kindness, patience, her love for her family, and her ability to crack a cow whip.

She was preceded by her father, Ralph Burnsed and is survived by her mother, Carmel “Carmie” Burnsed, brother Forrest “Bobe” Burnsed (wife Kay), brother Clarie Burnsed (wife Rafeal) sister Lori York (husband George), sons Holland Bramlitt (Tammy Shealy), Travis Bramlitt (Monique), Luke Bramlitt (Kristen), her grandchildren, Clayton, Carley, Trevor, Kimber, Tinsley. And, also, by many others she loved dearly.

 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Russell Baptist Church.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Russell Baptist Church with Pastor Chad Weeks officiating.  Burial will follow at Gravely Hill Cemetery in Jacksonville,
