Randall "Randy" Clifton Jackson

Randy Clifton Jackson, 61, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2024. Born on October 16, 1962, in Denton, Texas, he was the son of Rachel Prevatt Middleton and Robert Jackson.

Randy is survived by his wife, Kathy Jackson, and his beloved children, Tasha Jackson David (Dustin) and Clif Jackson. He was the proud grandfather to Kameron Funderburk, Joshua David, Baylee Watson, Colt Jackson, and Harper Jackson. His family was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

He is also survived by his brother Roger Jackson (Brenda), Danny Middleton (Bridget), and his sister Patty Brown (Ray). He is preceded in death by his brothers Lee Jackson and Marty Jackson.

Randy was known for his fun-loving spirit, carefree attitude, selflessness, strong commitment to family and friends, and his incredible sense of humor. He had a passion for life that was infectious, and he lived each day to the fullest. Whether at concerts, cheering for his favorite Florida Gators, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Dallas Cowboys, or enjoying a barbecue with family and friends, Randy's enthusiasm and warmth left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He found joy in playing softball, enjoying the outdoors, and celebrating life's special moments with those he loved.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 3, 2024, at noon at The American Legion, located at 2608 Black Creek Drive, Middleburg, Florida, 32068. In accordance with Randy’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service, but instead, a gathering to honor his memory and the joy he brought to so many.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who wish to remember Randy do so by sharing a favorite memory or story that brings a smile, just as he always sought to do for others.
