Raymond S Dahms

Raymond S. Dahms passed away peacefully on August 20, 2021 at his home in Orange Park, Florida, with his family by his side. Born to the late Raymond and Vivian Dahms on March 3, 1944 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Raymond “Rusty” graduated from Hialeah High School in 1962, and then served in the US Army until 1967. Rusty married the love of his life, and wife of 52 years, Mary M. Koch, on October 31, 1969. He was a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Civil Engineering. Rusty proudly worked as a project manager at NAS JAX from 1983 until his retirement in 2018. Rusty was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Vivian Dahms, and his brother, Paul A. Dahms. Rusty is survived by his loving wife, Mary M. Dahms, his sister, Carol Hummiston (Thad), his brother, Donald Dahms (Lani Ray), his three children, Eric Dahms, Lars Dahms and Mary Karen Shaw (Allen), and his three grandchildren, Tyler, Clayton, and Kiersten. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff of Heartland Hospice for their exceptional and loving care. The family is foregoing a memorial service in lieu of a Celebration of Life to be scheduled at a later date.
