Rebecca “Nanay” Fernando Crisostomo, 66, of Orange Park, Florida passed May 13, 2023. She was born to Demetrio Fernando and Maria Lourdes Alcantara Fernando on March 21, 1957 in Malolos, Bulacan Philippines. Nanay Becca graduated from Marcelo High School and went to NY Medical School for Dialysis technician and worked as a caregiver.
She was a devoted Roman Catholic and was actively serving as charismatic member during her days in the Philippines. Her hobbies included gardening, shopping and cooking. She will be remembered as the most loving mother attending to her five sons and beloved husband.
Nanay Becca was preceded in death by her father, Demetrio Fernando in 2002.
She is survived by her husband, Cesar Crisostomo; five sons, Richard, Rishier, Ronald, Reza and Ramsey Crisostomo respectively; daughters-in-law, Hazel, Jhoy, Celine, Sweet Peach and Danika; grandchildren, Qrizelle, Qristen, Tiana, Renzo, Lexi, Allen, Andy, Daniel, Dylan, Dwayne and Penny; 9 siblings, Rafael, Asuncion, Oscar, Carina, Felizardo, Veronica, Cesar, Fernando, Criselda; mother, Lourdes Fernando; brother and sisters-in-law, Christina, Analin, Mhel, Lorna, Jane, Rene, Edgardo, Ernie and all her loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on both Wednesday, May 17, 2023 and Thursday, May 18, 2023 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. The funeral mass will be held at 11:00am on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church with Fr. Philip Timlin as celebrant.
