Rena Mae Lennox from Keystone Heights, Florida, passed away Friday morning, March 28, at the age of 86. She was surrounded by many from the family during her final days. Rena was born to William and Elsie Craig on January 7, 1939, in the Chicagoland area. Rena Lennox attended Kansas University and Moody Bible Institute in her younger years. Later in life, she graduated from Elmhurst University with a Special Education degree and then graduated in 1994 from Aurora University with a Masters in Social Work. Rena was married to Frank Matthew Lennox. They spent many years as missionaries in the Middle East and Europe. Rena was affiliated with the Plymouth Brethren for many years. In the last years of her life, she was affiliated with St. Andrews Anglican Church of Gainesville. Rena Lennox liked to pray, read the Bible, scrapbook, study health-related issues, research family genealogy, and play table games. She is survived by her husband, Frank Lennox, and her children, Ellen, Ann, Craig, Tim, and Mark. She was preceded by her parents William and Elsie Craig. A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Rena Lennox will be held at St. Andrews Church in Gainesville on the morning of May 10, 2025.
