Batavia, IL Chapter #722 Reta passed away August 25, 2018 in the Moosehaven Health Care Center at the age of 77. She was born to Herbert and Ethel Clayton on January 9, 1941 in Bruce, Illinois. Reta married Larry Soule on July 2, 1958. They had a daughter Lori, and son Bill She later married Ron Trentt on March 27, 1977 and they were blessed with a daughter Marsha. He preceded her in death on May 2, 2011. She was a clerk for Premier Refractories and retired in 2000. They moved to Florida where Ron’s job transferred him to Moosehaven. Reta became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on July 7, 1969 when she joined Batavia, Illinois Chapter #722. She received her Academy of Friendship degree on April 21, 1974 and her College of Regents degree on June 2, 1979. She was a Star Recorder on June 10, 1980. She sponsored seventy two members in her lifetime. She came to Moosehaven on August 1, 2007 where she has resided for 11 years. Reta was the choir director at the Moosehaven Chapel for many years and loved to sing and paint. Funeral Service held Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 10:30am in the Moosehaven Chapel. Services conducted by Rev. Helen Taylor and Opportunity Chapter. Reta is survived by son Bill (Maria) Soule of Jacksonville, Florida and daughter, Marsha (Jerry) Evitts of Aurora, Illinois. Three Grandchildren Jacqui Smith, Will Soule and Alex Evitts, Four sisters Geneva Browne of Texas, Jose Walker of Texas, Moosehaven residents Ruth Wingard and Elsie Frisk Orange Park, FL. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Smith, two sisters, Margaret Fowlie and Edith Rhinehart and one brother Clyde Clayton.
