Richard F. Morgan, 90, of Middleburg, FL, passed away July 11, 2017. He was born on January 21, 1927 in Weston, WV to parents Gerald and Hanna (Schindt) Morgan. Mr. Morgan served his country during World War II in the United States Air Force. He worked as a machinist for Civil Service and moved to the local area in 1954 from Bradenton, FL. He was a member of Black Creek Church of Christ and enjoyed woodworking, gardening and traveling. Mr. Morgan was a member of the Clay County Board of Realtors and will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Eula Mae Suggs Morgan; sons, Richard T. Morgan and Michael E. Morgan; daughters, Rebecca J. Morgan and Karen M. Ellison; grandchildren, Frank Robson, Jr. (Anita), Donald Ellison (Tatum) and Skyler Morgan and great-grandchildren, Liddia Robson, Brady Ellison, Erik Ellison, Karter Morgan and Logan Walters. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, July 13, 2017 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 14, 2017 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Minister Stephen Atnip officiating. Military honors will be given at the service. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, July 17, 2017 at Old Myakka Cemetery, Sarasota, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to your favorite charity.
